100% Donation Policy

Islamic Welfare Trust operates a 100% Donation Policy for every emergency Appeal like the Gaza Emergency Appeal, Yemen Emergency Appeal, Pakistan Floods Appeal etc. It means that every single penny you donate towards these emergency appeals will be spent on the beneficiaries.

Islamic Welfare Trust understands that your donation is an Amanah. We also understand the responsibility and accountability it brings.

For general donations, the Islamic Welfare Trust spends 90p of every £1 donated to us on the beneficiaries. The remaining 10p are spent on generating more donations and to cover the administration costs.

Example: How your donation is spent?

When you donate £10 to Islamic Welfare Trust’s Water Projects, we will send £9 to provide clean water to the families. The remaining £1 will be spent on generating more donations. On average for every £1 spent on marketing, we raise £10 in donations. So your donation is doubled without you knowing, Alhamdulillah

This is an example of this world. However, in the sight of Allah, there are no limits on reward. A person will be rewarded up to 700 times for his/her donation.

Islamic Welfare Trust operates 100% Qurbani Policy. It means that every single penny you donate towards the Qurbani appeal will be spent on performing Qurbanis.

Example: How your Qurbani is performed?

When you donate £100 to Islamic Welfare Trust’s Qurbani Appeal, we will spend all £100 on purchasing, slaughtering & distributing the Qurbani animal. Your Qurbani meat will only be distributed among the poor & the needy families. No administration costs. No marketing costs.

Gift Aid Policy

Any gift aid claimed on the donations is used for marketing, administration and projects which do not receive enough donations.

We are a 100% transparency policy charity, which means that you are always welcome to ask us where your donation has been spent. Our accounts are publicly available via the charity commission website.
